One wire needs to go to the distributor. I believe you have an HEI distributor. The red wire goes to the distributor, one wire is for the internal light. This is a very simple hook-up.

Your rpm signal comes from your distributor. (I've owned several mid to late chevy trucks). If it is the same you will have wires coming out of the back of the distributor and they should have a plug. Look here and that is where they will hook up

Oh, to check to see what wires do what........take a 9v battery and hook the positive to the pink and black to the negative and the gauge will move. This will help determine which wire is which

Have both remotes with you in the truck.Push and hold the unlock button on the drivers door.Cycle the ignition key on and off three times.Release the unlock button. You should hear the doors lock and unlock. This is programing mode.Push and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the first remote. When the system locks and unlocks the doors this remote is programed.Repeat with the second remote. To exit program mode turn the key on or open any door.Best of luck.

try this...
hold down the unlock button on your door, while turning the key "on off, on off"
The locks should automatically cycle on and off.
once that happens, hold down both lock and unlock buttons on the first remote until it programs (you will know because either the locks will cycle again, or the horn will chirp)
as soon as the first remote is done, do the same thing for the second one.
Once they are both done, turn the key on off again twice...

that should do it!
good luck!

it's prolly similar to the 2001 cavilier which is the vehicle i drive! You have to press and hold both the lock and unlock buttons at the same time, for a few seconds. You should hear the car lock and unlock I believe. I have to re program everytime i change the battery!!! G/L
